Intermediate
15 minutes
Tear off a strip of duct tape 10 inches long and lay it sticky side down on a flat surface. Place the can on its side toward the top of the tape and roll it onto the pop can so that the sticky side is facing out.
Tear off another 10 inch long piece of tape and lay it sticky side down on a flat surface just like in Step 1. Again, place the can on its side toward the top of the tape so that the edge of the piece from Step 1, which is already wrapped around the can, and your new strip on the table overlap by about ½ inch. Roll the tape on to the can so that the sticky side is again facing out.
Repeat Step 2, but make sure the top of the tape does not extend past the top of the can.
Tear off a 5 inch long strip of tape. Attach one end to the bottom edge of the koozie, sticky side out, then pull it across the bottom of the can to the other side. Attach the strip to that side as well, but make sure it’s not too taut. Repeat this step once more only with the sticky side down. This will create the bottom of the koozie.
Tear off 3 more 10 inch long pieces of tape and wrap those around the can, sticky sides together, so that the entire can is covered in a sheet of duct tape fabric. If any stickiness is still showing through the koozie, you now want to cover that with additional strips of tape.
Remove the can from the koozie. Tear off a 5 inch strip of duct tape and place it lengthwise around the top of the koozie, sticky side facing the in with half of the sticky side exposed and the other half connected. Fold this down over the top of the koozie to create a clean edge at the top.

Is the zebra duct tape Duck tape brand or another brand? If so what brand?!?!?!? I love the idea!
Fantastic! My Dad loves to carry cans of pop at parties but by the time he gets back to the can after he's finished talking to people the drink is always warm. So I can't wait for my Dad to get his present for Fathers Day.
