1. Heat the surface with a hair dryer (When temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, adhesives tend to harden and won't stick).
2. Firmly press the tape on to the surface before removing the release liner.
3. After removing the release liner, heat the tape with the hair dryer to soften the adhesive.
4. Position the plastic film over the window. Firmly press the plastic along the tape to secure it in place. Be careful not to over-shrink the film because this will put too much pressure on the tape and it will pull away from the window.
When installing your EPDM Weatherstrip Seals, first measure the gap that you are trying to seal in your doorway. The flat edge should be against the vertical or horizontal framing for the door to shut against the thicker part of the seal.
