Approximate Crafting Time:0:45
Supplies and Tools:
- Any colors of duct tape
- Floral Wire
- Exacto Knife ( Optional )
- Cutting Board ( Optional )
- Vase ( Optional )
Get a green straw or just take green tape and cut it the length of your straw and put the the straw at one end of your tape (long ways) and roll the straw to cover it in tape.
Cut 12 strips of duct tape about 1 1/2 inches long or just a perfect square.
Take a corner and fold it in but make sure there is tape still showing.
Take the other corner and fold it over make sure it isn't overlaping the sticky tape showing.
Do that to all 12 of your squares.
Wrap them around your straw to make a normal rose.
Cut three 10 in. strips and one 5 in. strip.
For the 10 in. strips cut them down the middle which is 5 inches then long ways cut it down the middle.
Turn the tape over so it's sticky side up.
Take your floral wire and cut about 2 1/4 and put it long ways on the tape make sure it touches one end of the tape and is exactly in the middle.
Fold the tape in half making sure that you are still leaving some tape showing at the end.
Now you will need to cut them into petal shapes.
Put 7 petals around the rose you made earlier.
Take the last 7 petals and fill in the gaps from the first seven petals.
Take about 3 in.of tape, cut it in half and put it around the base of the petals. You may need more for it to look perfect. After you may bend the petals to your choice of liking.
Put it into a vase to show.
