Approximate Crafting Time:0:45
Supplies and Tools:
- Duck Tape®
- Floral wire
- String or elastic cord
- Craft knife
- Crafting board
Make a strip of Duck Tape® that is 8 in. long and 2 strips wide, leaving one side sticky.
Draw or trace the shape of one wing on your strip. Cut it out with a crafting knife.
Repeat steps 1-2 so that you have two identical wings. It’s okay if the wings are facing same direction.
On the sticky side of your wings, place your floral wire around the outer edge of each wing. This will allow the wings to bend.
Lay two strips of Duck Tape® sticky side down over each wing so the wire is sandwiched between the strips of tape. Trim off the edges.
To create the body of the bat, roll a piece of Duck Tape® into a ball and continue to wrap strips of Duck Tape® around it until you reach your desired shape and size.
Attach the wings to the back of the body with small pieces of Duck Tape®.
Attach string or elastic cord to the top of the bat with a piece of Duck Tape®.
Add feet, ears, and eyes to complete your hanging bat!
