Kid safe fireworks

Ducktivity provided by ranaenae

My nephew loves fireworks so I made him these 5 year old safe fireworks. What I did was take 6 inch strips of different colors folded lengthwise, cut an angle at the top then cut strips most of the way down. Then I taped them side by side and rolled them around a toothpick. I finished off the toothpick with plenty of extra to hold on to. I also used packing tape which gives it a bit of a glitter look in the sun. He liked them so much that I needed my own purple one.
