Pencil Animals

Ducktivity provided by Haley is a ducktape lover

Adds a fun twist to your plain boring pencils. You can almost make any animal you know of.I would recomend starting with a butterfly because it is easier than other animals.Enjoy your new pencils!

Skill Level:

Intermediate

Approximate Crafting Time:

0:30

Supplies and Tools:

  • Ducktape
  • Scissors
  • Pencils
  • Pipe Cleaners(optional)
  • Google Eyes(optional)
  • markers(optional)
  • Craft Glue

Directions

Print
  • Step 1

Take a pencil and cover it in the ducktape that you chose. Make sure you don't cover the pencil point or the earaser.

  • Step 2

Take a square of ducktape and cover the eraser.Keep adding duck tape until the head is the size you want it and is as circular as you can get it.

  • Step 3

Now you can add all the details that your animal needs. For eyes you can draw them with a marker or glue on google eyes. For the mouth you can use ducktape or draw it on.Use pipe cleaners to add legs for a caterpillar. Now add any other details you can think of.

  • Step 4

Instead of writing with your pencil you can make a stand to display it.Take two or three pieces of ducktape a little longer than your pencil and cover the sticky side with ducktape. Now take the legs of your animal and tape it down so it looks like it is standing.
