Ducktivity provided by synchsk8er
this is time consuming and took 1 1/2 hours on 2 different days! this is fun but not quick!
Approximate Crafting Time:3:0
Supplies and Tools:
- 3 colors of duct tape
- craft wire
First make 2 sheets of duct tape 8inches long by 7inches wide and put one aside where for later. Make 26, 7 inch strips and fold them in half hot dog style.
Next place the strips next to each other with 6 strips on the width and 7 strips on the length so that they are hanging off about 6 inches. Place the other sheet of duct tape over the bottom sheet to sandwich the strips inside.
Now make 4-5, 2/12 feet long stripes of another color and fold them in half hot dog style, set them aside. For the weaving process you need to take a 10 inch piece of another color and cut it in to little pieces 1/2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. roll these to make a sticky roll this will be placed on the strips to hold them together.
Start weaving placing a little roll on every strip to connect it to the main piece.
Once done weaving cut the remaining strips down to the top of the last woven strip, take 1, 14 inch piece of the base color and cut in half hot dog style and tape off the tops of the basket.
The Handle: take the 3 colors you choose and cut a 24 inch piece of each,on two of the pieces place a piece of craft wire in the middle, create "string" by squeezing it together. Now braid the pieces together tape off the end and attach the ends in the inside of the basket.
