Dimond back Backpack

Ducktivity provided by Sorrelpaw

I love crafts and when I learned you could make them out of duct tape I was all for it. My favorite colors at the time were green, teal, and white and so I made it out of that color. Believe it or not but this is also the very first thing I made out of duct tape. I also entered this into the county fair for 4-H and I got a purple ribbon there so it moved on to the state fair and it also got a purple ribbon at state. I hope you guys love this as much as I do.

Intermediate

Approximate Crafting Time:

6:30

Supplies and Tools:

  • X-acto knife
  • Duct tape
  • Ruler
  • Scissors

Directions

Print
  • Step 1

Make the front and back sheets of duct tape 14" tall by 12" wide double sided so they are not sticky

  • Step 2

Then make the sides, they are 14" tall by 3" wide double sided.

  • Step 3

Then make the bottom, it is 12" tall and 3" wide

  • Step 4

Then tape the sides, front, back, and bottom all together.

  • Step 5

Now you need to make the flap to go over, 13" by 13" sheet of duct tape and tape it to the back of your bag and hang it over the front of your bag.

  • Step 6

Now you need to make the strap, now you need to find out how long it should be to go over your head and shoulder and then cut two strips of duct tape and stick them sticky side on sticky side and then tape them on the inside sides of your bag.

  • Step 7

Now you have your bag but its not decorated now for the front flap I had taken a 2 inch strip of duct tape and folded the corners together to a point and there should be a little bit of sticky strip on top and thats what I used to stick it to the flap. Also for the strap I had just taken a roll of duct tape and wrapped it around the strap. (optional)
