When I found out my prom’s theme was monochrome, I just knew I had to go big and bold with the color. As I’ve always wanted to become a flamenco dancer, this was the perfect opportunity for my transformation. The hardest part of it all was the ruffles. Made of Duck Tape fabric, stitched, and cinched with thick embroidery thread, they are the culmination of many late nights. It was the coolest to have an excuse to make ruffle-y tape fabric. When my prom buddy wore light up gold sparkly shoes, we were certainly the talk of the dance!
