AVON, Ohio (June 18, 2012) – For the past three months, budding designers and crafty fashionistas in high schools across North America have devoted hundreds of hours  -- and even more rolls of Duck Tape®-- creating fabulous do-it-yourself prom outfits for an unforgettable prom night. Now it's time to see the best of the bunch! 

Duck® brand today announces its 2012 Top 10 Couples for the 12th Annual Stuck at Prom® Scholarship Contest. The contest invites high school students from the United States and Canada to use Duck Tape®to create outstanding, one-of-a-kind prom formalwear for a chance to win up to $5,000 in scholarship prizes. Today's Stuck at Prom® Top 10 Couples were selected by judges from a pool of 228 entrants for their workmanship, originality, use of colors, accessories and use of Duck Tape®.

Now it's up to the public to select the first, second and third place winners! Online voting starts at noon today at StuckAtProm.com, and ends Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Online voting is limited to one vote per valid email address per day. The first, second and third place winners, as well as the judges' six Honorable Mention picks for best accessories, will be announced on or about Friday, July 13, 2012.

This year Duck® brand is giving away more than $40,000 in prizes, and each winning student and their school will receive scholarship cash for their final placement in the Top 10. First place winners will be awarded $5,000, second place $3,000, third place $2,000, and the seven remaining couples from the Top 10 will each receive $500. Winners for all six Honorable Mention categories will win a Duck Tape® Prize Pack that includes more than 40 Duck Tape® colors and prints.
